Charles Tiller
Head Cross Country Coach
Head Track Coach/Distance and Pole Vault
Coach Tiller grew up in Atlanta, GA. He ran Track and Cross Country for Marist High School. A distance runner, his PRs include a 16:52 XC 5K,a 4:48 mile, and a 36:45 10K. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 1984 with a degree in Accounting. Charles has been coaching Track and Cross Country in Tuscaloosa for the last 6 years at Tuscaloosa Middle School, Central High, and at American Christian Academy. He and his wife Debbie have 2 children, Elizabeth and Eric. Charles is a USTAF (United States Track & Field) Level II certified Coach. Email Charles here!
 
Dan Brenton
Assistant Track Coach/Throws
 
Dan grew up in Lawrence, KS - a college town very much like Tuscaloosa. He played football and was a member of the Track team at Lawrence High School. A discus thrower, his PR is a throw of 171 ' 6". He graduated in 1982 from the University of Kansas with a degree in Physical Education. He was on the University of Kansas Track team his freshman year. He later attended Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, TX. Dan is a pastor at The Church at Tuscaloosa (TCAT) on Watermelon Road in Northport. He and his wife Julie have 3 children, Whitney 21, Cooper 19 and Blake 15.
 
Becky Doucet

Becky graduated from Bell City High School in Bell City, LA. She ran track there from the 7th through the 12th grades - running a personal best of 5:39 in the mile. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA. She ran track for McNeese State posting a PR of 20:03 in the 3 mile run. Becky is a member of the Tuscaloosa Track Club. She was the Women's Masters Winner for Fall 2006 totaling the most points for a series of races for the year. To date, Becky has run 7 marathons. She and her husband Chuck have 3 children, Aaron, Moriah, and Asher.
 
Lillie Leatherwood
Assistant Track Coach/Sprints
 
Lillie Leatherwood is a former world class sprinter who won an Olympic Gold Medal in the 4x400 meters at the 1984 games held in Los Angeles. She also won a Silver Medal in the 4x400 meters at the 1988 games. She won national championships in the 400 in 1986 and 1987 and is the current record-holder at the University of Alabama (and the SEC) in the 200 and 400 meters. She also was a member of the UA record-holding 4x100- and 4x400-meter relays.
